Having thought that monogamy was never possible, a commitment-phobic career woman may have to face her fears when she meets a good guy.
I'm a fan of Amy Schumer but i can't really say that my hopes were high, I didn't know what to expect. I've only seen some of her stand-up and some sketches before.
The movie is very entertaining and funny but a few of the jokes and characters are a bit over-the-top for me, for example Dianna, Amy's boss (played by Tilda Swinton) she could have been toned down a bit, made her more aggressive instead of whimsy and mean.
Guy in Back of Theater: This has to be the corniest muscle white dude I've ever seen in my fuckin' life.
Steven: Okay, Koko B. Ware, you know what? You're being an asshole! Alright? You know what I do with assholes? I lick 'em!
But it's not all jokes, the film has some serious scenes that really caught me, I don't won't to spoil anything but they really helped the film and made it easy to ignore the "over-the-top" jokes.
Overall It's a nice "feel-good" film to watch on a rainy day (or on a long flight).
Amy are a really good actress and i hope to see more of her soon!
