Although it’s been 12 years since Finding Nemo was released and quite a while since the news of the sequel Finding Dory was announced we haven’t gotten any other updates – until now! Recently Jim Morris, the president of Pixar announced some details about the upcoming film – it takes place six month after Finding Nemo (perhaps 12 years is 6 month in fish years), it will take us on a journey where Dory is trying to find her roots. On this quest we get to meet Dorys parents voiced by Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy, as well as some of the old characters such as Marlin, Nemo and the gang from the tank.
The setting will change in the new movie and new characters will be introduced according to Morris:
“The movie will be mostly set at the California Marine Biology Institute, a huge complex of sea life rehabilitation and aquarium, where Dory was born and raised,” Morris says. “We will get to meet new characters, like an octopus, sea lions, a beluga whale, among others.”
I’m rather exited, I mean how bad can it be?
